Rowe typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Pioneer proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Warriors 5-3. The Diamondbacks haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Pioneer's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ben Martinez, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Martinez snagged this season.

Pioneer's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Rowe, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pioneer is set to square off against their familiar foe Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rowe will face off against rival Vela at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
