The Evans Knights had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past Effingham County with a 47-43 win on Friday. The win was just what Evans needed coming off of a 58-37 loss in their prior contest.

Leading Evans to victory were Kimariya Hinton and Harmony Skinner. Hinton dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Skinner dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. Hinton is crushing the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Charity Joyner, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Despite the loss, Effingham County still got an impressive performance from Kyjana Jordan, who scored 25 points along with two steals. That was a full 58.1% of Effingham County's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
