Softball Game Preview: Bethel Bees vs. Lehman Catholic Cavaliers

The Bethel Bees will head out on the road to square off against the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethel has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Bethel managed to slip by Covington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bees lost 13-1 to the Buccs on Thursday. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bethel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allie Sheen, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Lehman Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Miami East, falling 13-1.

Lehman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bethel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything went Bethel's way against Lehman Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, as Bethel made off with a 23-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bees since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
