Softball Game Preview: St. Paul Buckaroos vs. Colton Vikings

For the first time this season, St. Paul will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Colton Vikings at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Paul's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.

St. Paul barely beat Nestucca the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Buckaroos put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 16-7 win on Thursday. The Buckaroos haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Colton came up short against Kennedy on Wednesday, falling 20-5. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Colton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for St. Paul, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
