Soccer Recap: American Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pelion last Tuesday, American Leadership Academy came back down to earth. The Patriots fell just short of the Saluda Tigers by a score of 4-3 on Friday. Kayleigh Purdy probably wasn't too happy after the match: she scored every single goal for American Leadership Academy and still walked away on the losing team.

American Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Saluda, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American Leadership Academy will welcome Lewisville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saluda, they will face off against Pelion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saluda are facing Pelion at the right time seeing as Pelion are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
