Baseball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moore Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Redhawks have lost by exactly four runs.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Moore, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Union has already played their next contest, a 12-4 defeat against Choctaw on the 21st. As for Moore, they will square off against Eisenhower at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Moore has three straight victories, Eisenhower has seven straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
