Max Krosky Delivers Best Performance of Season

Things weren't looking good for Capistrano Valley Christian heading into Friday's tilt with Ontario Christian(they were ranked 303 places lower in California), but Max Krosky wasn't phased. Krosky turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday, picking up 142 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Capistrano Valley Christian moved to 4-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. It'll be Battle of the Birds when Eagles takes on Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Malachi Jones Turns in Season-Best Performance

Malachi Jones produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Aquinas to the win on Friday. Jones threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and a touchdown.

Heritage Christian's probably not too fond of Jones given he always seems to get the better of them. When Jones last faced the Warriors back in October of 2023, he threw for 202 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 77 yards on only nine carries.

Nate Richie produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Capistrano Valley Christian to the win on Friday. Richie threw for 215 yards and a touchdown, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground. He sure picked the right time to have a big game: Capistrano Valley Christian's opponent (Ontario Christian was ranked a full 303 places higher in the MaxPreps California Rankings.

This season, Richie has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 161.4 passing yards per game.
