Football Game Preview: Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles vs. Wheeler Bearcats

The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles will square off against the Wheeler Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Lake Station Edison nor Wheeler posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Lake Station Edison and River Forest, and River Forest kept the tradition alive. The Fighting Eagles fell 19-6 to the Ingots on Friday. The game marked the Fighting Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
