Volleyball Recap: Campbell County Comes Up Short

Campbell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Anderson County Mavericks, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mavericks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-9, 25-11.

Campbell County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Anderson County, they pushed their record up to 16-15 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Campbell County is set to take on their familiar foe Powell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Anderson County will challenge rival Gibbs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
