Soccer Game Preview: Mesquite vs. Arcadia

Mesquite is 0-7 against Arcadia since February of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Wildcats will host the Titans at 6:00 p.m. Arcadia took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mesquite, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Mesquite faced off against Peoria on Wednesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, Arcadia fell victim to Paradise Honors and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Arcadia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 109th, while Paradise Honors are ranked 12th).

Mesquite's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Arcadia, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
