Vanguard was the 6-5 winner over Santa Fe when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Vanguard Knights fell just short of the Santa Fe Raiders by a score of 4-3 on Friday. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Vanguard saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Aiton, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Clayton ?CT? Antonucci also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vanguard fell to 6-1. As for Santa Fe, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vanguard will host West Port at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Vanguard is facing West Port at the right time seeing as West Port is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Santa Fe, they will be playing at home against Saint Francis Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
