Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Rio Vista

Rio Vista won the last time they faced San Juan, and Isaiah Holley did his part to make sure it happened again. The Rio Vista Rams enjoyed a cozy 62-43 victory over the San Juan Spartans on Wednesday thanks in part to Holley, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 boards. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Luke Fortes, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played.

The win made it two in a row for Rio Vista and bumps their season record up to 7-14. As for San Juan, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-21.

Rio Vista didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-45 defeat against Golden Sierra on the 31st. San Juan has also already played their next contest (against Lindhurst), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
