Giles County won against Central Magnet last Tuesday with 64 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Giles County Bobcats skirted past the Marshall County Tigers 64-62. The win was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won five matches in a row.

Marshall County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jabrae Howard, who posted 22 points, and Jamahl Gentry, who earned 20 points. Howard is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played. Jayce Harney was another key player, putting up nine points.

Giles County's victory bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Marshall County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
