Brazos extended their postseason success on Saturday against Central Heights. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Blue Devils. Considering the Cougars have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Brazos' fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-12. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Central Heights, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-8.

Coming up, Brazos will challenge Franklin on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cougars 2.8, the Lions 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Central Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
