Soccer Recap: Metuchen Comes Up Short

The Metuchen Bulldogs came up short against the East Brunswick Bears on Tuesday and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Metuchen have lost by exactly two goals.

Metuchen's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for East Brunswick, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Metuchen will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kennedy Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for East Brunswick, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Robbinsville on the 4th.
