Football Recap: Monomoy Takes a Loss

Monomoy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams, falling 42-7. The Sharks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Monomoy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Monomoy will be playing in front of their home fans against Lynn Vo-Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they will head out on the road to square off against Wareham at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
