While Thursday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman Kaylee Phillips. On Thursday she scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Phillips and Randleman will be playing in front of their home fans against Providence Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Phillips duked it out with Providence Grove (back in April of 2024), Randleman came out on top by a score of 3-2. Will another strong game from Phillips be enough to do it again?
