Basketball Recap: Battlefield Takes a Loss

Battlefield suffered their closest loss since December 26, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Freedom Eagles by a score of 52-50. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Battlefield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Freedom, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Battlefield Bobcats duke it out with the Unity Reed Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freedom, they will take on Osbourn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
