Softball Recap: Williamstown Comes Up Short

Williamstown came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Tyler Knights, falling 11-3. The loss continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Gracie Rush made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Williamstown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Tyler, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williamstown will host Clay-Battelle at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Tyler, they will face off against Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
