East Duplin is a perfect 10-0 against Wallace-Rose Hill since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. The timing is sure in East Duplin's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Wallace-Rose Hill has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between East Duplin and South Lenoir, and East Duplin kept the tradition alive. The Panthers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Blue Devils a 1-0 shutout on Friday.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last contest, Wallace-Rose Hill made sure to put some runs up on the board against Hobbton on Wednesday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Wildcats. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Wallace-Rose Hill's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for East Duplin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

East Duplin took their victory against Wallace-Rose Hill in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 16-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
