Basketball Recap: Simsboro Comes Up Short

Simsboro lost against Weston back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Simsboro Tigers came up short against the Weston Wolves, falling 62-38. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Simsboro now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Weston, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Simsboro Tigers challenge the Calvin Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvin will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Simsboro surely won't give up without a fight. As for Weston, they will square off against Quitman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Weston's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
