Basketball Recap: Sweetwater's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Sweetwater was the 60-55 winner over Jim Ned when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sweetwater Mustangs fell just short of the Jim Ned Indians by a score of 52-50 on Friday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sweetwater's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-12. As for Jim Ned, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Grape Creek the next time they take the court. Jim Ned will head out to face Grape Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Sweetwater will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on February 4th.
