Softball Recap: Millry Comes Up Short

Millry and Leroy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Millry had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 18-3. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bears this season, with their most recent defeat being a 14-0 loss two weeks ago.

Millry has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-11-1 record this season. As for Leroy, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-9.

Millry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 15-2 victory against Fruitdale on the 25th. Hopefully Leroy paid attention to the Wildcats' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. on Monday.
