Basketball Recap: Sleepy Eye Snaps 11-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Sleepy Eye was the 83-57 winner over St. James when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sleepy Eye Indians received a blow on Thursday as they fell 81-66 to the St. James Saints.

Sleepy Eye's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-5. As for St. James, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Sleepy Eye won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wabasso at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. James, they will be home for the holidays to greet Maple River at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
