Volleyball Recap: Mercer Makes It Eight in a Row on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Erie First Christian Academy, Mercer was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Moniteau Warriors. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Mercer walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 27-25, 25-17, 21-25, 25-15.

Ainsley Baldwin paced Mercer's offense, picking up 15 kills. Baldwin got some help from Farren Baldwin and her 15 assists. Ainsley was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Mercer pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Mercer will venture away from home to take on Wilmington at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Moniteau, they will square off against Karns City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
