There's no place like home for Bertie, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hertford County Bears by a score of 13-10 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Bears on March 4th, they had to take a 11-10 defeat.

Messiah White was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Xzayvion Saunders, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.

Bertie moved to 2-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Hertford County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Bertie has already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Tarboro on the 21st. As for Hertford County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-4 defeat against Pasquotank County on the 21st.
