Briggs has gone 9-1 against Walnut Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bruins will head out on the road to square off against the Scots at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Briggs got the win against West by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Cowboys: they've now won six in a row.

Briggs never let West on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Walnut Ridge made easy work of South on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Walnut Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Briggs, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Briggs was able to grind out a solid victory over Walnut Ridge when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
