Volleyball Recap: Longview Comes Up Short

Longview lost against Rockwall back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lobos came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 21-11. As for Rockwall, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Longview will take on rival Royse City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rockwall is set to challenge their familiar foe North Forney at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
