Soccer Recap: Cascade Comes Up Short

Cascade lost against Stayton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 4-1 to the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Cascade can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Stayton are ranked fifth).

Cascade has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. As for Stayton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0-1.

Cascade didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against North Marion on the 16th. As for Stayton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Philomath on the 16th.
