Valley won the last time they faced Mater Academy East Las Vegas and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-19.

Clayton Sellers paced Valley's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sellers got some help from Laione Eteaki and his 26 assists. Beckham Melton controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Valley's victory bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Chaparral on the 1st. As for Mater Academy East Las Vegas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against American Heritage Academy on the 30th.
