Baseball Game Preview: Bel Air Highlanders vs. Parkland Matadors

The Bel Air Highlanders will take on the Parkland Matadors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Bel Air came up short against Horizon and fell 7-2. The loss continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Scorpions: they've now lost five in a row.

Bel Air saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Muniz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Parkland lost 23-1 to Americas on Friday.

Bel Air's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Parkland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.

Bel Air got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Parkland by a conclusive 15-5 score. Do the Highlanders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Matadors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
