Bath County dropped their record down to 16-14-1 on Monday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-0 to the Raceland Rams. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Raceland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. The result was nothing new for Raceland, who have now won 12 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

For Raceland's part, Bryer Parsons looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, Parsons posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Eli Lynd and Kadin Shore did most of the damage at the plate: Lynd went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Shore went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Shore a new career-high. Cade Coldiron was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bath County will take on Fairview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Raceland, they will challenge Blazer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
