Daniel Pressley Drops League-Best Effort on Friday

Starting off the list is Bishop Ireton's Daniel Pressley, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pressley rushed for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.

Archbishop Carroll has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Butler Jr will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Bishop O'Connell on Saturday.

Jayden Mcnair Delivers Best Effort of Season

Sadly, Jayden Mcnair posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Archbishop Carroll over Paul VI on Saturday. Mcnair wasn't messing around, making 13 total tackles. The matchup was his fifth straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.

For the season, Mcnair has averaged 7.6 total tackles per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 0.6 total tackles per game.
