Cedar Creek is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Atlantic County Institute of Tech. Cedar Creek blew past Atlantic County Institute of Tech 19-1 on Wednesday.

Matt Vanaman looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Cedar Creek got a massive performance out of Richie Gonzales, who scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nate Winterbottom, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and one run.
