Basketball Recap: Mid-Moore Christian Makes It 14 in a Row at Home

Mid-Moore Christian waltzed into their match on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Liberty Academy Eagles by a score of 62-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-40 back in November of 2024.

Mid-Moore Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Moore led the charge by putting up 15 points in addition to seven assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Caeson Moore, who posted 18 points.

Mid-Moore Christian's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Liberty Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Mid-Moore Christian and Liberty Academy will both be playing Stillwater S the next time they take the court. Liberty Academy will host Stillwater S at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Mid-Moore Christian will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
