Dylan White made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Zach Burdine also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

South Point's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chesapeake, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
