Volleyball Recap: South Albany Comes Up Short

South Albany lost against South Salem back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redhawks lost 3-0 to the Saxons.

While South Albany ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-20.

Logan Scott was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 18 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 16 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

South Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Salem, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

South Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Salem, they will challenge Sprague at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
