West Valley won against Deer Park on Wednesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Eagles beat the North Central Wolfpack by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-1. Considering the Eagles have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

West Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for North Central, they now have a losing record of 9-10-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolfpack beat West Valley by a score of 12-8 later that day.
