Soccer Recap: Highlands Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Highlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Franklin this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 two weeks ago.

Highlands' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Franklin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Highlands will welcome Blue Ridge Early College at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Franklin, they are taking a road trip to face off against A.C. Reynolds at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin's defense better be ready for this one: A.C. Reynolds have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season.
