Volleyball Recap: Liberty Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Liberty Christian can now relate to. They came up short against the Indiana School for the Deaf Deaf Hoosiers on Saturday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Deaf Hoosiers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Leading Indiana School for the Deaf to victory were Carrie Eicher and Bailee Presley. Eicher had 17 assists and three aces, while Presley had two aces. That's the most assists Eicher has posted over her last 11 matchups.

Liberty Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-14.

Liberty Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against International on the 18th.
