Football Recap: Village Christian Gets the Win

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Village Christian Crusaders beat the Bishop Alemany Warriors 13-8 on Monday.

The win got Village Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Bishop Alemany, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Village Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Notre Dame (SO) at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Alemany, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Fernando at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 10.9 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
