Baseball Recap: Allen Gets the Win

Allen lost to Calumet back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Allen Mustangs came out on top against the Calumet Chieftains by a score of 7-3. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by exactly four runs.

Landin Tenequer was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kale Horton, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Allen and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Allen will host Weleetka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calumet, they will face off against Stonewall at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
