Football Recap: East Texas Homeschool Sports Skates Past Trinity School of Texas with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Texas Homeschool Sports). They claimed a resounding 84-46 win over the Trinity School of Texas Titans. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Jadon Pace had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 130 yards and three scores on only seven carries, while also throwing for 246 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Chris Mason was Pace's top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 30 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Pace, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

East Texas Homeschool Sports pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Trinity School of Texas, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Texas Homeschool Sports will head out to face off against Fort Worth THESA at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity School of Texas, they will take on King's Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
