Soccer Game Preview: Norfolk vs. Kearney

Norfolk is 1-9 against Kearney since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Norfolk duke it out with Kearney at 7:00 p.m. Norfolk will be strutting in after a victory while Kearney will be coming in after a defeat.

Kearney better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Norfolk's game on Saturday is any indication, that's when Norfolk really gets things going. Norfolk's defense stepped up to hand Millard North a 4-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Isidro Rosas as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Kearney was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They lost 4-1 to Papillion-LaVista South. Kearney haven't had much luck with Papillion-LaVista South recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Kearney's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Norfolk, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
