Volleyball Recap: Parowan Takes a Loss

Parowan was the 3-0 winner over Dixie when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams came up short against the Flyers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Parowan was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23, 25-16.

Erika Kelley paced Parowan's offense, picking up six kills. Kelley got some help from Ryann Robinson and her 15 assists. Robinson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Parowan's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Dixie, they pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Parowan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against San Juan on the 3rd. As for Dixie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Morgan on the 1st.
