Basketball Recap: Burlington City Falls Short of Pitman in the Playoffs

Burlington City and Pitman squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Burlington City had to settle for second. They came up short against the Pitman Panthers, falling 61-38. The Blue Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Burlington City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. The victory (which was Pitman's fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

As of now, neither Burlington City nor Pitman have any future games scheduled.
