Basketball Game Preview: Warsaw Tigers vs. Concord Minutemen

The Warsaw Tigers will face off against the Concord Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Concord will be up against a hot Warsaw squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. Warsaw came out on top against Tippecanoe Valley by a score of 62-55 on Tuesday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Meanwhile, Concord had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 56-45 victory over the Warriors.

Warsaw pushed their record up to 22-4 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. As for Concord, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

Everything went Warsaw's way against Concord in their previous matchup back in January, as Warsaw made off with a 64-38 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warsaw since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
