Football Game Preview: Rush-Henrietta vs. Fairport

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Rush-Henrietta should expect quite the challenge on Saturday. They will look to defend their home turf against Fairport at 2:00 PM. Rush-Henrietta will be hoping to build upon the 19-6 win they picked up against Fairport the last time they played.

Rush-Henrietta might have drawn first blood against Canandaigua Academy last week, but it was Canandaigua Academy who got the last laugh. Rush-Henrietta ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-41 walloping at Canandaigua Academy's hands.

Meanwhile, Fairport took their matchup against Churchville-Chili by a conclusive 24-0 score. The success made it back-to-back wins for Fairport.

Fairport's win lifted them to 2-0 while Rush-Henrietta's loss dropped them down to 1-2. We'll see if Fairport's success rolls on or if Rush-Henrietta are able to steal their positive momentum.
