Cruz Covarrubias Game Report: @ Valor Christian

Passers beware: Cruz Covarrubias came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made one tackle, but sadly Mullen still had to take a 42-14 loss at the hands of Valor Christian. We hope Covarrubias' good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Covarrubias and Mullen will be playing at home against Regis Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Covarrubias had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in September of 2024 23-12.
