Football Game Preview: Victory Christian Academy Knights vs. Tri-City Christian Eagles

The Victory Christian Academy Knights will challenge the Tri-City Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Victory Christian Academy came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 56-14 defeat at the hands of Maranatha Christian. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed eight in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Gabriel Aguirre, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Tri-City Christian's offense. They took a blow against O'Farrell Charter on Friday, falling 35-0.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Tri-City Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
